1)The names of pin 10 and 12 are both DCDC_ LN, and the two names are the same.

   Why? How to use it?

2)The advantages and disadvantages between buck mode and bypass mode in the mkw36a512vfp4,

   how to choose it?

Hi Bin, I hope you're doing well!

  1. Due to the Current limitations of each pin, in the 48 pin package both DCDC_LN pins need to be connected to the same part of the DCDC inductor input.
  2. In Buck mode, the DCDC needs a voltage of at least 2.1V to start the MCU, but then it can go lower, to at least 1.8V. Overall, with the DCDC enabled in buck mode, you will see a lower power and current consumption on the peripherals of the MCU. Still, power consumption from the DCDC output must not exceed 125mW.

Please let me know if you need any more information.

Best regards,

Sebastian
