W8997 issue scanning AP 2.4Ghz on channel 12 and 13

Hello NXP team,

We have integrated the "SD-WLAN-SD-BT-8997-U16-MMC-W16.68.10.p162-16.26.10.p162-C4X16693_V4-MGPL" driver on Android 12 Linux 4.9.178 on our custom platform based on BG5CT. With this updated driver integrated into our image, we were able to connect to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands of AP.
However, during our testing of the DUT's connection on all the channels of the 2.4GHz band with WPA2, open, and WPA3 security, we observed that the DUT was unable to scan the AP on channels 12 and 13.

Could you explain, with logs, how you see that "the DUT was unable to scan the AP on channels 12 and 13", please ?

How did you get driver version "SD-WLAN-SD-BT-8997-U16-MMC-W16.68.10.p162-16.26.10.p162-C4X16693_V4-MGPL" ?
It is quite old (oct 21). Could you test with the last version "NXP_L-SD-WLAN-SD-BT-8997-U16-MMC-W16.68.21.p84.6-16.26.21.p84.6-MXM5X16391.p4-MGPL", please ?

Thanks for your response.

When we set our router for 2.4GHz band on channel 12, 13; we observe that we are not able to scan the AP from UI as well as through command line with wpa_cli utility.

the latest public release available on NXP website for sd-wlan-sd-bt W8997 is "SD-WLAN-SD-BT-8997-U16-MMC-W16.68.10.p162-16.26.10.p162-C4X16693_V4-MGPL" thus we ported the same wifi BT driver in our sdk.

With above direct download link we are getting below error:

And on W8997 product page on NXP we were unable to see the "NXP_L-SD-WLAN-SD-BT-8997-U16-MMC-W16.68.21.p84.6-16.26.21.p84.6-MXM5X16391.p4-MGPL" driver version.

We have ported Wifi and Bt driver from below link in our android 12 SDK with Linux version 4.9.178 for custom board based of BG5CT :
