Hello Community,

I am newbie to the thread protocol, I have seen that the new K32W comes with openthread demos not the thread based demos which indicates that openthread is somewhat preferred.

If someone can guide me when to go with thread and when to prefer openThread it will be really helpful also there is one more option Project CHIP "Matter" if someone can share the knowledge/understanding about these 3 topics it will be really helpful for me.

Thanks!!

Hi,

Hope you are doing well. OpenThread is a stack implementation of Thread (threadgroup.org).

You can find more information about the stack in their page: OpenThread.

The OpenThread stack is the one supported in our K32W061 SDK.

And related to Matter, you can check our page to find more information about it: Matter.

Best Regards,

Ricardo
