Hi anyone.

I am looking for a hardware plattform (RF-TRx or Sytem on chip) for a bigger project, which can be act as an bluetooth (low energy)  node  -- and on the other hand can be configured to handle a simple proprietary protocoll  (without all  the BT features),  its for compatibility mode.

both configurations are independent, so the are two different firmwares.

best regards / nice weekend

The upcoming Kinetis KW41Z will feature (alongside the Bluetooth LE v4.2 capabilities) a generic FSK mode on top of which any proprietary protocol using FSK modulation in the 2.4 GHz band will be implementable.

The target is early Q3 2016.

There are however alpha programs you can be part of for early access to the technology. Please contact NXP support for more information.
