QN908x Capacitive touch sense

Hi,

I am planning to use "QN908x" for capacitive touch functionality. Kindly clarify below queries,

1. Can design separate board for touch panel this board can be interface with main board (with QN908x )??

Is it necessary to have touch panel on the main board only?

2. Can I achieve swipe functionality using multiple touch switches on "QN908x"?

By any chance have you checked the AN12190  I believe that this guide could be a nice start in your desing development and might help you clarify most of the questions you have.

You can check the chapter 5 with some of the HW Setup used in the making of the file , you can check as well the chapter 4 the supported patterns to be supports pattern, keypad, analog rotary, and analog slider.
