Hi,

we want to use NFC as our BLE pairing out band interface,so we expect that the NFC chip can worked at the Card emulation and Reader/writer mode at the same time,Does NFC support this application scenario? And are there any recommended chips or mature solutions?

    Thank you so much.

Hello,

Thanks for your information. Actually we don't recommend PN532 for new design(So there is no information on NXP website), we recommend PN7120 or PN7150 instead, and there is source code as the below:

NXP-NCI MCUXpresso example Project

Have a nice day.

Hello,

>> we expect that the NFC chip can worked at the Card emulation and Reader/writer mode at the same time.
NXP reader can support Card emulation or Reader/writer mode. But can not be at the same time.
For the more information please refer to the link.

Thank you for your reply.

I want to know whether this simultaneous working mode is not supported by the NXP chip, the NFC protocol, or neither?

In mobile phone applications, the mobile phone can act as a card or a card reader. Does this mean that two NFC chips are integrated in the phone, or that there is only one NFC chip but the two modes work in time sharing?

In our application, we hope that both parties in communication can actively obtain each other's information. Because we want to support LE Legacy Pairing and LE Secure Connections Pairing at the same time, LE Legacy Pairing requires both parties to obtain each other's OOB data before they can pair. So is only the P2P mode of NFC available? Or you have a better opinion.

thanks.

ok, I know, thank you.

We plan to use PN532, where can I download the official PN532 library for full mode? I looked for it on the NXP official website, but I couldn't find the corresponding one.
