hello

We use MKW41Z512 to develop our product, and now we must get to license from SRRC(Radio Type Approval Certification) in China. One of the test item is single carrier frequency test, how can we to do for this test, can you give us some documents, SDK , tools or description as detailed as possible that can help us to do this.

Qestions Added:

1 what's the SDK we can refer to?

2 what's the tools we can use to do this test?

3 what's the parameters in the SDK we need to modify or what's the commands we must send when we do the single carrier frequency test?

Hello @Haitao_xu,

Hope you are doing well.

You can find the latest SDK available for your device in the MCUXpresso SDK Builder.

Please, take a look at FRDM-KW41Z RF System Evaluation Report for BLE Applications. This document provides the RF evaluation tests results of the FRDM-KW41Z for BLE applications. It includes the test setup description and tools used to perform the test on your own. "genfsk_connectivity_test" and "hci_black_box" projects from the SDK may be helpful for this document.

Regards,
Eduardo.

hello @EduardoZamora

Thanks for your suggestion, we can do test refer to project "frdmkw41z_wireless_examples_genfsk_connectivity_test_freertos", but when we did "continuous unmodulated transmission" test, the carrier frequency tolerance was out of the range, the up-limit value is 20, our test result is 31.38, how can we adjust this value via modify some parameters in "frdmkw41z_wireless_examples_genfsk_connectivity_test_freertos" project.

Hi,

Just to confirm, you are trying to verify the carrier frequency value, is this correct? The image you shared shows ≈2.402GHz, what is the frequency value you are trying to achieve for your certification?

the carrier frequency tolerance was out of the range, the up-limit value is 20, our test result is 31.38

Could you please clarify the reference values you are using to calculate this tolerance?

Regards,
Eduardo.

hi @EduardoZamora

Thanks for your reply, and we find out the parameters in "frdmkw41z_wireless_examples_genfsk_connectivity_test_freertos" to modify the frequency. And I also read the user Manul !
