I am using JODY-W2 (88W8987).
I am using mlan0 and uap0 simultaneously.
The uap0 is used for streaming video.
When mlan0 performs SCAN, the throughput of uap0 decreases and streaming becomes disrupted.
I found out that the cause of this is that uap0's transmitter stops while mlan0 is doing SCAN. This was stated in the release notes (https://www.nxp.com.cn/docs/en/release-note/L6.1.36_2.1.0_WIFI-Doc.pdf).
Simultaneous Mode Operation Limitations
uAP/P2P-GO beacons are paused unconditionally whenever STA/P2P-GC performs scan and are resumed automatically once the scan is complete.
Block diagram of 88W8987 (https://www.nxp.jp/products/wireless-connectivity/wi-fi-plus-bluetooth-plus-802-15-4/2-4-5-ghz-dual-...), there was only one MAC. For this reason, I found out that it is not possible to send while receiving for SCAN.
What I would like you to tell me is the following.
Does AW-CM276NF (88W8997) have any of the above limitations? Looking at the block diagram(https://www.nxp.jp/products/wireless-connectivity/wi-fi-plus-bluetooth-plus-802-15-4/2-4-5-ghz-dual-...), it looks like there are two MACs.
