I am using MKW38[FRDM-KW38 board].

Based on Example code [adv_ext_central_freertos],

I am trying to Always Scan mode.

I added debug message "<S>" when adv device is found.

JungkyuHan1_0-1760920396745.png

When I conduct Long run test. a certain time[ex: 72hours later] Scanning doesnot work anymore.

At this moment, and from this moment. scanstop & ScanStart does not work.

[After scanstop & scanstart, Scanning does not work anymore].

Can Anybody help to conduct never stop scan ?

Hi, @JungkyuHan1

Thanks for sharing your project.

I checked our code and your code, I think FRDM-KW38 could not scan again because of the modifications in your code: adv_ext_central.c

I suggest you to double check your modifications.

And for your info, I checked the default example code with FRDM-KW38, it can work well.

For the modifications you did by yourself, it is better check by yourself, actually out of our support limit.

Please let me know whether have any other concerns on this case.

Best regards,

Christine.

Hi, @JungkyuHan1

What is your SDK version?

I know you are using this example: frdmkw38_adv_ext_central_freertos.

What modifications did you do in our default SDK example code?

Let me prepare same environment to see whether can reproduce it locally.

Best regards,

Christine.

SDK : 2.6.xx

As I tested two options but same result,

1.Sustain Scan Start for Good.   : SCAN fail

2.Repeat -Scan Start (60s) -> Scan Stop   : SCAN fail

Hi, @JungkyuHan1

Thanks for your reply.

I am still checking on this.

At the same time, would you please have a try with our newer release: SDK 2.6.917 to see whether this issue already fixed in the newer release?

Any way, I will continue to check with the same SDK version as you mentioned on SDK 2.6.615.

Best regards,

Christine.

@JungkyuHan1

Sorry, My mistake!

The .xxx version is not our official SDK version, it is for internal only.

The .xx version is official SDK version. So, it looks the 2.6.15 is the latest official release.

Best regards,

Christine.

Hi, @JungkyuHan1

No, not reproduced yet.

But as mentioned, I think it is related to the code you modified. Can you please double check your modifications?

At the same time, I will continue to dig about this.

Best regards,
