IW416 AP+STA mode concurrency

Hi NXP Team,

I am using Murata Type 1XK based on NXP IW416 chip. 

have following queries. 

• What is the Maximum number of clients can connect, if IW416 work as AP mode ?
• Does 1XK modules support AP + STA mode concurrently ?
• Along with max clients will module be able to still work in AP mode concurrently ?

For IW612, I checked our FeatureList.pdf  in Driver:Linux_5_15_32_IMX8_SD-UART-BT-IW612-18.99.1.p154.38-18.99.1.p154.38-MXM5X18364.p19_V1-MGPL, It can support maximum 16 clients in AP mode. And if you want to check one WiFi chip's feature(such as how my clients it support in AP mode), you can download our driver on our website, and check them in Release Note.pdf  or FeatureList.pdf file.

By the way, if you have other quires related to IW612, please create a new case to us so that we can trace different query/issue with different case. It will be better for future reference. Thanks for your understanding.

For IW416, I checked our latest driver release note, and confirmed below:

• What is the Maximum number of clients can connect, if IW416 work as AP mode ?
• ==>Max supported stations (up to in AP mode.

• Does 1XK modules support AP + STA mode concurrently ?
• ==>IW416 does support Simultaneous AP-STA Operation. From NXP side, we can only answer you that IW416 feature, but I am not sure whether our partner changes something during making module.

• Along with max clients will module be able to still work in AP mode concurrently ?
• ==>In theory, It still can work concurrently. But I don't have IW416 on my local side right now, if you have, would you mind to have a test?
