Vybrid VBAT power issue

On our boards with mounted PVF60GS151CMK40 Rev C2 and PVF61NN151CMK50 1N02G the VBAT pin consumes 1-2mA instead the 45uA from datasheet, if the main power is switched off. Also on our Tower board with CPU Test Rev A5 the current is ~90uA. Is there any issue?Does anyone else have this problem?

Needs any CPU internal block connected on VBAT a configuration to reduce this current (e.g. SRTC)?

We already set SOSC_EN to 1 on first start and OSC32K is working. Also RTC is running.

We dont measure any voltage on Tamper pins. Any idea to fix this?

Dear Carlos,

Sorry for the delay.

It appears you are not alone - please, take a look at another thread (https://community.freescale.com/thread/308899).

Unfortunately, I cannot be specific as of when it will be done by the IC Design team.

Best regards, Naoum Gitnik.

Dear Carlos,

Thanks for your information; it is confirming data we have recently received from another source.

We are currently investigating this RTC power consumption issue quite critical for us.

Based on my experience, changing connections on the board or register settings usually do not help in such cases.

Best regards, Naoum Gitnik.
