Dear all:
i am just a new user of the TWR-VF65GS10-PRO , actually i don't know how to set up a toolchain for firmware development to create GUI / UI /HMI with QT for the Touchscreen.
Is there a setup guide somewhere ?
Thanks in advance
Marc

Hi Marc,
I would recommend starting by creating a Web Factory build for the Vybrid Tower in order to obtain a toolchain and firmware with Qt and any other packages you would require.
First, if you have not created a Timesys LinuxLink account, you can do so by going to https://linuxlink.timesys.com/register/freescale/ to create an account and register your Vybrid Tower board to gain access to the Timesys tools.
If you would like, you can try downloading and booting a Starting Point build for the Vybrid Tower at https://linuxlink.timesys.com/download. Some of the demos, like MCC WebGL Accelerometer Demo and OOBE Demo, will contain a toolchain and root filesystem with Qt. The demos may be a good starting point to give you some ideas for your own UI. All demos are open source, and the source can be downloaded from a demo's Build Output page.
Instructions for booting a Starting Point or other Factory output can be found at Timesys Getting Started Guide and Booting the Freescale Vybrid TWR-VF65GS10 | Timesys Embedded Linux .
Next, you can create a customized Web Build with any packages you would require by navigating to the "Build BSP/SDK" tab: https://linuxlink.timesys.com/build. This will guide you through the steps of creating a new project and workorder (project configuration). You will then choose a toolchain and what software packages to include, and then you can start your build.
If you require additional control over the build engine (ie changing the kernel configuration, modify package or kernel source, or customizing your RFS image), you can use the Desktop Factory. A Desktop Factory Installer is included in each Web Build output. You can download and install the Desktop Factory Installer. Next, install the host requirements needed for the Desktop Factory: https://linuxlink.timesys.com/docs/wiki/factory/FactoryHostRequirements . Then, from the top-level Desktop Factory directory, run 'make' to build.
The following document goes over additional basics of using the Desktop Factory: https://linuxlink.timesys.com/docs/wiki/factory/FactoryGSG . More advanced topics can be found at https://linuxlink.timesys.com/docs/wiki/factory/FactoryBestPractices .
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thanks,
