ISO 7816 support for MQX/Vybrid

Dear Sir/Madam,

It is explained that Vybrid serial port UART' support ISO 7816 EMV standart for smart card readers. I could not see it in MQX directories, does anybody know, if MQX supoort ISO 7816 EMV standart? or are there source codes for ISO 7816 for Vybrid/linux?

Hi,

     Currently, what we mean to support ISO7816/EMV means that UART IP has meet the timing required for ISO7816/EMV.

     Latest UART IP should support full ISO7816/EMV timing and can pass EMV L1 test.

     MQX havn't supported ISO7816 driver yet and I don't know if there're any plan for this.

     But KSDK do have a plan to support ISO7816 and will have this in official release of next year.

Hello Mehmet,

I reviewed MQX and Linux source - I saw header definitions for ISO 7816 in each, but not an actual implementation. You could check if the MQX team has any plan to implement ISO 7816 for Vybrid in MQX. Timesys could also help under a services agreement. Let me know if you have any questions.
