Dear Sir or Madam:
We are using the MVF50NN151CMK50, a version of Vybrid that has no security functionality. In this case, can we simplify the external circuitry by tying the unused tamper pins directly to GND or let them share one pull-down resistor? We are trying to reduce the component count as the PCB space is very limited.
Thanks and regards,
SL
You can connect tamper directly to ground.
Have a great day,
Victor

Hi Victor,
Thank you for the answer. We realize that we may need RTC in some of our applications, and RTC only comes with the Security module. In case we do need to swap the MPU to a version that has the security module, e.g. the MVF50NS151CMK50, can we still tie the unused tamper pins directly to ground? Thank you.
Regards,
SL
