The tower board uses a NJD2873T4 for this, but we are looking for a smaller part in our design.  Is there a specification for what is required for this, or any other recommendations?

Thanks.

Hi Martin,

We're working on creating a specification to put into the datasheet, as well as looking into alternative methods to reduce the current consumption on the ballast transistor. Unfortunately we don't have those at the moment yet, but will update everyone once it's ready

Hi

I see there has been an update in the docs on this issue.  0.85A seems quite high for the max current and still requires quite a big part. Do you have any more information on where this current number comes from?

Thanks.
