RFIDDiscover tool acquired but how to use it

I have acquired the tool, but the problem that I am facing right now is that the manual is saying we will need the PEGODA reader by NXP, which will take additional time, Is there no other way to show you guys logs and take help.

I have been able to authenticate but while configuring Secure Dynamic Messaging I am getting error 9140. I also have the offline key, just one question what is the use of online key when I have offline key?

I have the Pegoda reader (CLRD370) and want to share the logs for the App that I have built with you guys, so that we can complete the change keys as soon as possible. The rest is working fine.

I have read the user manual for pegoda reader: UG10039

But can't understand how I can change keys in my app, and use the pegoda reader and rfid discover tool to get help from you guys.

Also Do I need to update the firmware. There is also something called NFC Cockpit, do I need to use that to share the logs?

The use of the PEGODA Contactless Smart Card Reader is recommended along the RFIDDiscover tool as it offers an easy way of exploring the NTAG424 and other smart cards' features.

The error you are getting (0x9140), refers to an invalid key number that has been specified, meaning that the targeted key does not exist. Please consider that there exist five addressable key fields at application level which are numbered from 00h to 04h, please refer to section 8.2.4 of the NTAG 424 DNA Data Sheet to get a deeper understanding on the use of each key and make sure the key you are addressing with the sent command exists.

Consider that enabling SDM is only possible for the "StandardData" file No 02h, and the feature can be enabled using the "ChangeFileSettings" command please see section 11.7.1 of the NTAG 424 DNA Data Sheet  and section 9.3 for further details on SDM. You may also take a look at section 5 of the NTAG 424 DNA and NTAG 424 DNA TagTamper features and hints app note as it describes the procedure that needs to take place in order to be able to change the file settings and personalize the NTAG 424.

This feature (SDM) can also be enabled and tested using the NFC TagWriter App please refer to section 4 of the TagWriter User Manual for further details.

The online key is meant to be used if an online authentication is needed in the application when the device has internet access, however if this is not necessary on the application, a local authentication can take place using the offline key.
