In-App Offline Registration for applications questions

Hello,

I am considering using the "TapLinx SDK for Android" with an application that will be used in environments with differing levels of connectivity. 

Will the offline registration method be successful in these environments:

• Device that never has an internet connection
• Device that is connected to a network without an internet connection
• Device that is connected to a network with internet access, however non-standard internet traffic is blocked (communication with the registration server blocked)
• What happens if the registration server is down?

Would it also be possible to clarify whether an application that uses the SDK is classified as a derivative work in the license agreement?

Please find answers below.

• Device that never has an internet connection

Yes if the user sends the ancillary key required for the offline license key verification in the register API, this shall work.

• Device that is connected to a network without an internet connection

Answer same as above.

• Device that is connected to a network with internet access, however non-standard internet traffic is blocked (communication with the registration server blocked)

Answer same as above.

• What happens if the registration server is down?

If the registration server is down , online license verification will not go through but if the ancillary key is included in the request for offline verification, offline license verification shall work.
