Use of the gold finger as a 2nd PCIe x4 when in standalone mode

On the T2080rdb in standalone mode we are successfully testing various PCIe cards such as a GPUs (AMD Radeon series) and PCIe M.2 SSD with custom linux kernels 4.x.

See out gitlab repo oshw-powerpc-notebook / T2080customizations · GitLab

However, we would like to use more than one card at the same time but without the downsinde of loosing performance with PCIe splitters attached to J20.

Is that possible to attach PCIe cards on the golden finger?

Maybe changing the device tree, or the RCW, any advice?

Mechanically that would easy, we bought a PCIe 4x female-to-female adaptor, but then?

Sorry, we do not offer a ready-to-use solution on how to convert PCIe gold finger connector to PCIe slot on T2080rdb board.

Mechanically - yes, you can use female-to-female adapter, but for the software part - our documentation does not offer a ready-to-use solution.

Have a great day,
