T4240 10GB SFP+ Ethernet Performance

We are using the driver provided by  vxWorks 6.9.4.7. 

We have a board that has the T4240 processor from NXP (formerly Freescale) 

This board has a 10GBp SFP+ ethernet interface. 

We are using IPerf software to evaluate performance. We have tested the performance without and with Jumbo Frames.in TCP. 

Without Jumbo Frames the performance is around 1.60GBbps. 

With Jumbo Frames the performance i around 5Gbps. 

Is it normal that performance?

Which are the recommendations to achieve better performance?
