SFP+ at T1023 XFI interface

I would like to extend our T1023 board with an optical 10 Gb Ethernet interface.
For this an XFP transceiver module should be connected directly to the XFI interface.

Would this also work with an SFP + module ?

Hello Paul Penz,

Please refer to "Figure 30-1. Supported SerDes Options" in T1023 Reference Manual, you could configure RCW to configure SerDes A as XFI.

Please refer to the T2080RDB board Reference Design in QorIQ® T2080 Reference Design Board|NXP , it connects XFI to CS4315 for 10G Base-T SFP+ connection.

You also could refer to LS1046ARDB design in QorIQ® LS1046A Reference Design Board|NXP  to connect XFI to retimer to connect to a SFP+ module.
