I am trying to flash my T1042RDB based custom board using Code warrior tap. When I connect my codewarrior tap to my PC, Green LED starts blinking that shows the connectivity of PC and Codewarrior tap. I am also able to see my freescale probe in device manager but it is not shown in the notification tray. When I starts flashing, it gives the error that
Connection failed.
Could not connect to probe [or other debug link]. CC string is invalid.
What might the reason for this error ?
Sir Is there any other way by which I can configure my Codewarrior Tap by myself ?
Hello Ather Shehzad,
The problem should be caused by the unstable hardware, please return it for a new TAP.
Thanks,
Yiping
Thanks Yiping Wang
You might be right because when I enter show cc it gives me error
0: USB open failure
but sometimes it gives me the expected result
0: CodeWarrior TAP (cwtap) CC software ver. {0.0}
Yes Code warrior is shown in device manger that can be seen in the attachment below
What is the solution to the usb connection issue ?
Regards
It's seems that the hardware of your CodeWarrior TAP is not stable, please contact your local FAE to return and replace it with new one.
Is there any other way to configure the CodeWarrior hardware by ourself ?
Regards,
Hello Ather Shehzad,
It seems that there is problem to detect CodeWarrior TAP with USB connection.
Please open CodeWarrior Connection Sever to check whether CodeWarrior information can be returned correctly.
(bin) 2 % config cc cwtap
(bin) 3 % show cc
0: CodeWarrior TAP (cwtap) CC software ver. {0.0}
In addition, please check whether CodeWarrior TAP can be detected as the attachment from the device manager.
Thanks,
Yiping
