when using MPXV6115VC6U with an arduino, do the additional capacitors and the resistor shown in fig 4 of the data sheet need to be used? what does "output source current operation" mean?

Hello Robert, 

They can be removed but I recommend using the configuration shown in the Figure 4 from the MPXV6115VC6U datasheet.

The capacitors should avoid noise in both, input and output lines. The resistor was added to a scenario where several pressure sensors were connected to the same ADC input. 

Without these components, current would flow and give inaccurate results.
