NTM88 | SPI Not working as expected

Dear Team,

My customer is working with our NTM88 sensor and having an issue communicating with his MCU via SPI.

according to the customer while he was overviewing all our documents he notice a few mismatched in information.

for example, the NTM88 Firmware Library User Guide (UM11145) explains that the sensors use PTA0 and PTA1 for CLK and DATA and the example code of the NTM88+KW38 example guide shows a different setup of pins which is confusing.

So the customer chooses the stick with the example code of NTM88+KW38 BLE Beacons as a baseline for his code and his setup is NTM88+Silab (BLE) as below:

The customer's question is to understand why the SPI communication is not working, the customer has noticed the KBI interrupt works but he doesn't see any data from the sensor.

Please advise back what could be wrong ?

Waiting for your kind feedback, many thanks.

Regards,

Shai

Hello Shai,

I hope all is great with you. Thank you for using the NXP communities.

Please review the file that I will send you by email. Configuration of the mapping between GPIOs and SPI/I2C functions are shown in Figure 4.

I hope this information helps.

Regards,

David
