Measuring water level in the tank

Dear All

Please advice me what is the most suitable sensor to measure water level and put the result in the LCD display

Water tank 500L

fixed on root top 6M

I would like to connect the sensor height from the ground about 2M

My Tank height 1M

width 1M

Pipe diameter 1.25cm ( hose connected to tank )
