MPX5010GP Shows just one voltage

Hi:

I'm using the mpx5010gp sensor to measure the water level in a tank, I manage to use the sensor a work fine for a few days but now two of them fail to measure the water level, one sensor, change its voltage but only in the range of 0 to 8 cm (I'm measuring until 40cm) while the other is stuck at 0,44 volts (something like 3cm) even when there is ot water in the tank. The connections and the supply voltages are OK. I have a pump and a couple valves connected, this elements have a supply voltage of 120 VAC and my only guess is that the AC noise, on the start of the pump and the valves could affect the sensor. Has someone had this problem? and How do you fix It?

PD: The sensors are connected directly to the tank, no hose between them.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Cesar,

Thanks for using our community.

Is the sensor directly exposed to water? Please remember that our pressure sensors are designed to be used with clean dry air only.

This question has been already addressed. I would highly recommend you to take a look at the following thread:

Re: 30% of MPXM2202GS failed within 2 months after installation

Hope it helps.
