I am currently using a MPX5010DP for a pitot tube project with an Arduino microprocessor and I am finding that the sensor output is sensitive to the sensor orientation. Sometimes a vertical orientation of the sensor gives stable values, other times a horizontal orientation gives more stable values - it is not consistent.
Does anybody have any further information on sensor orientation.

These devices are very sensitive to any change. To ensure optimal performance, we recommend implementing auto-zero according to the application note, This process ensures a “start from Zero” and the measures will be more stable, as linked below:
