MPL3115A2 pressure sensor sensitivity to acceleration

Hi,

Is there a specified sensitivity to acceleration for the MPL3115A2 piezoresistive pressure sensor? This is sometimes reported as a percentage FS/g (full scale per g). The sensitivity is likely orientation specific, so please elaborate whether in-plane or cross-plane.

Thanks,

    Josh

Hello Josh,

Such value is not characterized in the datasheet or any other document related to this pressure sensor. I requested assistance to our product engineer to check if this is something that we have available. I’ll get back to you as soon as I have an update. Please accept my apologies for the long delay on our response.

Have a great day,

Paulina

Hello Joshua,

First of all, please accept my apologies for the delayed response; I just received a response from our product engineer. Unfortunately, we do not have any value/testing for sensitivity to acceleration in our pressure sensor. This type of testing parameter would likely be in the datasheet if exist.

Have a great day,

Paulina
