MMA8451Q Accelerometer I2C Sink Current

Does anyone know what the maximum sink current for the I2C interface is for this part?  That is, what’s the maximum allowable IOL for SDA or SCL ?  I realize the I2C spec lists these as 3 mA (400 kHz) and 20 mA (1 MHz), but it seems this isn't a hard requirement because many datasheets list other values for these (effectively limiting the maximum bus capacitance).

Hi Ian,

Attached you can find current capability characteristics of both SCL and SDA pads.

Please note that the MMA8451Q is compliant with NXP I2C specification for both Standard and Fast modes only (400 kHz max).

Regards,

Tomas
