Greetings,

I am currently engaged in a project utilizing the NTM88J125T1 sensor chip from the NTM88 family. While researching the device on the company website, I came across a note indicating that the NTM88 family of devices is undergoing a requalification in the MEMS supply chain. The note states the limited availability of samples with the updated MEMS silicon upon request and advises referring to the specification table for further details.

I would like to request additional information regarding this ongoing requalification. Are there specific reasons driving this requalification in the supply chain? Are there any plans to phase out the NTM88J125T1 chip or to release a new version of it? If there is a new version, will it be backward compatible with the NTM88J125T1, or will there be significant implications for ongoing projects?

These details are critical to ensure the continuity and viability of the project I am currently involved in. I would greatly appreciate any further clarification you can provide on this matter.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the information regarding the update and partial compatibility between the chips. To ensure project continuity, I would like to confirm if both chips will be available for purchase or if it will be necessary to migrate the entire project to the new chip. This clarity would be crucial for our next steps. Thank you in advance for any further clarification you can provide.
