i'm a newbie in this chat. But i hope you can help me. Our company is looking for the right processor for using an MMA865 accelerometer. We want to detect the deceleration and the tilt of a vehicle. It is necessary that  the detection is very fast and the current consumption as low as possible because we want to use Energy Harvesting. Thank you for your answers.

Several options for you and others probably have good advice too.

The Freedom boards for the Kinetis L Series of MCU's (KL02/KL03/KL05) are low power and have an accelerometer (MMA8451Q 14-bit rather than 10-bit you are looking at) on board too.
