Hi. All

I know that the minimum value for the external magnetic field strength of KMZ49.

1. Can you advise it for the test method? for example, the sensor orient position, some magnet, length from magnet, test equivements and etc.

2. The H_ext(min) is 25kA/m. how much is the converted Gauss? is it right for the attached conversion table?

Thanks.

BR, hyeongjin kim.

Hi,

First off, please note that the KMZ49 is not recommended for new design, due to limited longevity.

Usually customers are using a GAUSS-meter to measure the field strength of their target magnet.

The probe will be located, where later our crystal will be.

Normally our customers are contacting magnet suppliers and give all requirements to them.

The magnet supplier will take care that minimum field strength will match.

Yes, you can use the conversion table/tool, 25kA/m corresponds to 313,5G.

Best regards,

Tomas
