Hi, for the FXTH8705026T1 tire pressure monitor sensor, it is possible also to measure pressure lower than 100kPa ? Thanks

Hi Pascal,

The pressure sensor inside the FXTH8705 is an absolute type pressure sensor. Its output (Pout) is converted and internally processed using both the TPMS_READ_PRESSURE and TPMS_COMP_PRESSURE routines resulting in a fixed pressure range of 100kPa to 450kPa. If Pout < 100kPa, the “underflow” status flag is set and Pcode = 0 (FAULT) as shown in “Pressure Measurement Characteristic” tab of the datasheet.

Hi Tomas,

thank you very much for your feedback. If the FXTH8705 is an absolute sensor I can measure tire pressure from 0 to 350KPa ( I subtract the atmospheric pressure from reading ).
