FXPS7 series end of life?

We're considering a pressure sensor from the FXPS7 range for a new design, but when I look up price and availability on Mouser and Digikey they are marked as end of life. On the NXP website information pages the devices are still marked as active.

What is the correct status of the FXPS7 range? Is it end of life? If yes, what are the recommended alternative devices?

Thanks
Barry

Hello Berry,

The FXPS7 absolute pressure sensor family is relatively new and we will keep it in production.

At the same time we have a fab transfer of the MEMS die, therefore this product family will be transferred, with 100%  same spec, function, form, fit.

The transferred parts will have slightly modified part numbers and we will EOL the current ones to switch.

So no issue at all for new designs, this pressure sensor family will stay in production after transfer.

Best regards,

Tomas
