FXOS8700CQ: How to implement calibration similar to Smartphones

Hello,

We are using FXOS8700CQ in our camera project. with an OLED display.

The customer needs to calibrate the chip similar to how we do in our smartphones.

How can we implement it?

Hello Emil,

The FXOS8700CQ has an embedded function for Orientation Detection. This is an algorithm able to detect all six orientations. As mentioned in the datasheet section 12.9,  you can refer to the application note AN4068 for further details.

But, we had tried once the auto calibration method mentioned in the datasheet and failed.
