I will test, but can not download the  "GUI Software for Magnetic Rotary Encoder Reference Design".

Thanks for the message. 

I need to localize the place in the source code where the error occurs on your computer. On my pc I don't see any issue at all; it may come from the system language. We never try the GUI on a Korean computer.

So I have generated for you a software debug revision with some additional message. You just need to copy the attached file at the NXP Magnetic Rotary Encoder software path (could be something like that: C:\Program Files (x86)\NXP\NXP Magnetic Rotary Encoder) and launch the .exe file. Let me know if you can see some pop-up and which one.

It is normal to have the error again, as I didn't identify the issue. But I added some pop-up in the execution like below to have a trace:

Can you check if you have installed the .NET Framework package 4.0?

Download Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2008 SP2, Windows ...

The board has an integrated LCD so you could test the board and run the demo without using the software.

Please send me an email at anthony.duhamel(at)nxp.com, I will send you the source code of the GUI, then you should be able to launch the debug with VisualStudio.
