Supply Pins and Supply Pads in S32K324 FMEDA

Hi Dear Colleagues, 

My customer found that there were Supply Pins and Supply Pads in FMEDA(S32K324.CUT_1_0.RELEASE.2021_R2.002-257pins), what are the differences between these two groups? Thanks.

Hi Weo Wang,

The supply pads are the part of die which consist of logic to connect chip internal logic to supply pins, while the supply pins are part of the package.

The pins and pads can have different failure modes and therefore we have modelled them separately.
