SAF or SPD for S32K3 with ASIL B allocated

Hi 

     I want to know, is it enough to use SPD(Safety Peripheral Drivers) for S32K3 while it is allocated with ASIL B? 

      or must we use safety software framework instead which is not free?

Hi

The use of SAF is not mandatory to achieve the required safety integrity. However, it is important to fulfill the assumptions in the Safety Manual and SAF/SCST are NXP software offerings then enable customers to implement these assumptions easily. If you are not using these SW components, then you may have to develop your own Software to fulfill the assumptions.
