Diagnostic Coverage of SM4.FLASH.PGM_ERS_CONTENT

Hi Dear Colleagues,

I found that in FMEDA, the DC(Diagnostic Coverage) of SM4.FLASH.PGM_ERS_CONTENT is 90%,

While in ISO26262-5, table D.4 clause D.2.3.7, the typical diagnostic coverage considered achievable is high, which stands for 99%,

So why is the DC of SM4.FLASH.PGM_ERS_CONTENT 90%, not 99%?

Hi Weo Wang,

For SM4.FLASH.PGM_ERS_CONTENT we took pessimistic approach and kept it's diagnostic coverage to 90%. We keep this practice for many other SM4s as they are implemented by customers. This is done to be on safe side.
If customer is able to implement the safety mechanism as recommended by ISO26262, then it can be increased to 99%.
