Hi NXP Techsupport,

I have been facing an issue regarding flashing the S32M Dio example to the NXP S32M244 EVB I was wondering if you can give me a bit more insight into the error.

Here is some addition information:

  • After installing all related NXP packages for model-based development tool I am unable to flash the code onto the NXP evaluation board due to an error message Unable to load libusb0.dll.
  • Here is the error message:

Command line arguments: -device=NXP_S32Mxxx_S32M244 -startserver -singlesession -serverport=7224 -gdbmiport=6224 -interface=USBMULTILINK -speed=5000 -port=USB1
Device selected is NXP_S32Mxxx_S32M244
User Specified Hardware Selection : Interface=USBMULTILINK and Port=USB1
Connecting to target.
Unable to load libusb0.dll
PEmicro Interface detected - Flash Version 10.98
Device is NXP_S32Mxxx_S32M244.
Mode is In-Circuit Debug.

  • Device Manager reads the OpenSDA port and PEMicro OpenSDA Debug Driver JimmyFang_0-1732647983400.pngJimmyFang_1-1732648013072.png
  • Libusb0.dll located in Windows\System32:
  • However, unable to connect to COM12 in FreeMASTER connection wizard, provides the following error code:

  • Tried running Simulink in Administrative mode but showed the same result.

Hello,

From your description is hard to judge what is the issue.

Which exact SW packages have you installed?

For S32M Dio example you do not need any dll libraries. Just he output file (elf).

I am confused what steps you have taken.

If you can list them I can try replicating them.

Best regards,

Peter
