Hi NXP

   as title, if one SMR is linked to a app region and enabled periodic check,  how to handle this case, is there any sample for reference? thanks.

This HSE service can be used:

But I can't see API for this function, so it should be implemented by user if needed.

Hi @victory 

There's not an option to stop periodic check. It would be necessary to erase such SMR and then install it again.

And because there's sentence in the API RM:

"If the periodic SMR verifi cation is used, the HSE fi rmware always uses the internal hash for verification."

... that means that you can't use AuthTag placed on constant address during AB swap, so it will be necessary to reinstall the SMR anyway.
