Is neither of these options, as it mentions in the reference manual for the S32K, by default, the value of this register is not valid, so you will need to use the partition command first before using this section.

That's right. After you use the partition command, this configuration will stay in memory from the beginning of your application.

If you check in other memory regions outside the memory map they will also appear as filled with 0's
