Hi :

Currently, I review the documents about SAF and SPD, I know there is a free version of SAF, I want to know what is the different between SAF_EVAL and SPD? Because both of them provide eMCEM and BIST function. Is there any document illustrate about this?

Hi BillWen,

SAF Evaluation release is not purposed for customer's production code, but just to "explore before buy".
Except Bist and eMcem modules, which are part of SPD free of charge release, the other SAF modules have also limited functionality in the SAF_EVAL release.

I recommend you take a look at the Training in S32 Safety Software Framework (SAF) and Safety Peripheral Drivers (SPD)
For example, the presentation of S32 Safety Software Technical Overview (SAF, SPD, SCST, SbSW) introduces the differences between SAF\SAF_EVAL\SPD

Best Regards,
Robin
