So, I have a working firmware that's using FlexCAN and successfully implements CAN.
Now, to get the data transferred over UART I have configured the PTC6 and 7 pins on the EVB but I'm unable to get any data to show up on the serial terminal.
I have first tested the lpuart_echo example on the same pins and it works well! (only the echo is not working but the welcome message gets transferred successfully!)
for troublshooting I have tested the following components and they have the same settings as in the lpuart_echo example:
1) osif
2) dmaController
3) intMan
