S32k118q048 EVB SBC programming for CAN FD messages.

Hi,
I have an NXP S32k118q048 EVB and I want to use it to send CAN FD messages. I want to see the messages on a CANoe Vector transciever. However, I wanted to check: Do I have to porgram the SBC to get the communication active, prior to sending the CAN message. Or is the SBC already by default ready to be used for CAN messages transmission?

Hi @yousefdessouki123,

When the board is delivered the SBC is in Forced normal mode and the CAN transceiver is enabled. No need to configure it. For more details about this mode please check UJA1169 Product data sheet, chapter 7.

Also, the UJA1169 Transceiver needs 12V power supply.
