S32k JTAG pin reuse

Hello Community,

I am using SWD pins to dump the code and for debug purpose.

Now I want to use the JTAG pins to alternative mux functions. when I change the JTAG TDI (PTC 5) to FTM2_CH0 mux I am getting error in processor expert. I am not able to generate the code from processor expert. How to change the JTAG pins to alternative mux functions.

Could anyone please guide me on this.

I made the changes to the FTM2_CH0 pin, but I do not have any errors.
Could you share the steps you made?

Hello @VaneB ,

1. I changed the pin mux from processor expert.

2. I changed  in FTM2 channel 0 to PTC5

At last I tried to generate the code from processor expert.

The above steps only I followed tp change the JTAG pin to FTM2 pin

Did you change any other pinouts in your project? If you change the configuration without using processor expert, do you still have the same error?
