i was working with NXP S32K358 Evaluation board for my project.
Suddenly one fine day the board doesnt work anymore. This is the second evaluation board which is non responsive for the current project.
Would be great if anyone can support for better understanding of what went wrong.
When checked with continuity , TP92 is shorted to ground and FS26 NXP IC is getting too hot.
Attaching the snap of the device below.

Hi
Please refer to 3.1 Set Up Jumpers in the S32K3X8EVB-Q289 Evaluation Board. If there is any difference in Jumpers settings?
Regarding the power-on sequence, did you follow 3.2 Plug In the Power Supply and then 3.3 Debugger Connection?
Are you using on-board S32K3 debugger or external S32K3 debugger?
Please do not operate jumpers or connect wires while the board is powered.
The TP92 (VDD_HV_A_MCU) of your board is shorted to the ground, which means that the S32K3 is damaged. This will cause FS26 to heat up. When you disconnect J23, FS26 may no longer heat up due to excessive current consumption by VDD_HV_A_MCU. But unfortunately, it seems that S32K3 is damaged.
Best Regards,
Robin
