I am using J-Trace Pro Cortex-M debugger with a S32K344, the problem is that I get an Unexpected core ID when connecting over JTAG to the MCU with J-Flash. However the issue does not occur when I connect over SWD.

The same issue happens when using MDK Keil(JTAG - doesn't work, SWD - works)

When using Segger's Ozone, JTAG works just fine.

Did anybody encounter such an issue and maybe knows the solution ? Thanks!

Hi @fortannekita

I have never seen this but it looks like a question rather for Segger. I found something similar here:

https://forum.segger.com/index.php/Thread/6632-SOLVED-J-Link-Flash-S32K144EVB-Q100-Unexpected-core-I...

Could you please ask them directly?

Regards,

Lukas
