S32K3_LIN_master and slave node configuration

Hi, NXP

I found that there are problems with the master and slave node configurations of the LIN component in S32K3, which exist in both RTD4.0.0 and RTD5.0.0.

In S32DS, I configured 4 LIN channels as master nodes. Then I changed the third LIN channel to a slave node. Problems occurred. My fourth LIN also became a slave node.

After testing, I found that as long as there is a slave configuration in front of the sequence number, the master configuration cannot take effect.

I adjusted the order and made what was originally the third become the fourth, and it seems that this problem has been solved. What are the reasons for this problem and how to solve it?

Best Regards,
xianlong

Hi @wuxianlong,

The RTD team is currently working on a fix.
In the meantime, please continue using the workaround you mentioned with the current version.

Hi,@danielmartynek

Do you have any further information over there? That is to say, can it only be modified according to the method I described at present?

Best Regards,
