S32K144 Can0 Tx (PTE5) outputs nothing

Hi Guys,

I created a FlexCAN program using "S32DS project from example" option from S32 Design Studio, ran that on the below evaluation board,

And I found no bit stream on PTE5 pin on the header pin J6-18.

Any idea?

Hi,

you need to connect external 12V power supply to J16, so the SBC is powered and SBC's CAN transceiver becomes active. Without this CAN RX is kept low, so the FlexCAN module will not synchronize to a "bus" and will not transmit anything.
