We Have A Car Tuner Module Project Expected To Apply S32K118 MCU With TEF6686. The Project Also Provide A State-Of-Art Audio Bus Functions Provided By ADI's A2B And In Our Case Tuner Module Would Be A Subordinate Node Which Means All Controls To The Tuner Would Be Through A Remote Host Behind A2B Master Transceiver.
As You See Above We For Remote Control Through A2B Superframe With I2C We Have To Apply MCU's LPI2C As Slave. Considering Communication Issue Here Would Be A Interrupt Generated By A2B AD2428 For S32K118 Through Mailbox Mechanism When Some Message Is On Arrival At Bus. The Design Looks No Problem Until I See Some Issues ( Post URL) With Similar Design Posted Upon ADI EngineerZone Community.
The Problem Is Due To AD2428W's I2C Clock Timing Parameter. So Before Getting Down To The Serious Design Job I Have To Figure Out The Compatibility Between AD2428W And S32K118. Unfortunately After Reading Reference Manual I See No Such Timing Parameter. Can Any One Help To Check The Specification For Me?
The LPI2C timing parameters are not specified in Datasheet as those are rather configurable. The section "18.104.22.168 Timing Parameters" in the LPI2C chapter of RM (https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=S32K1XXRM) provides information on how to handle such configuration, as well as example configurations so that the timings fall within I2C_specification (https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=UM10204).
You can see the timing symbols correspond to the same names as in the I2C spec document.
